What are Neurons?

While most people think that the brain is just working and that it receives the information using who knows what. Well now you’re going to learn what’s the “who knows what” part. The name is a neuron.

Firstly, the neurons’ importance. Your five senses would not be able to work. For example, if you would try to hear something, it would not be possible because nothing would be there to send the information to your brain.

You could say that neurons are co-hosts of your senses with the brain. Not only this but also breathing, talking, eating, walking, thinking and learning. All of this because neurons’ are nerve cells that send messages all over the body.

Lastly, you might not know that there are between 100 million to 100 billion neurons only in the brain. Also, neurons are each up to 100 micro-meter.

In conclusion, neurons are a crucial part of our body. If you ever wonder how your brain functions you can’t forget this irreplaceable nerve cell.
